AIM 3rd QUARTER PROJECTS IMPLEMENTATION PLAN 2025

Executive Summary

This integrated plan aims to eradicate Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) across five chiefdoms in Port Loko and Tonkolili districts through a multi-faceted approach. The strategy combines community advocacy, training of key stakeholders (practitioners, medical/legal personnel, school clubs, chiefdom authorities), livelihood support for women via VSLAs, and psychosocial care. The program is designed to change social norms, provide economic alternatives, enforce legal frameworks, and offer support to victims, ultimately working towards a declaration of zero tolerance in the target communities.
